昨夜驚魂後....隔天起個大早 非常喜歡在旅館起床的感覺 因為很幸福~~不知道為什麼?在鬧鐘響之前 我就起床開始整理, 今天預計早上先去The Roman Baths,剩下的時間再稍微逛一下市中心,本來沒有打算去,但是因為聽coco說有中文導覽了,聽的心癢癢的,加上喜歡歷史,所以決定還是去看看! 

The Roman Spa 
At the heart of Bath lie the stone remains of one of the finest religious spas in the ancient world, See the temple Minerva, goddess of the thermal spring. Visit the bath-house where people bathed nearly 2000 years ago. 

There are including: bath spa, computer visuals(雖然這點我覺得還好~因為很多都沒開), spoken commentaries(personal audio guide), the museum(glimpses into the everyday lives of Roman people, revealed in ancient gifts and messages. See cravings and inscriptions made by those who came here 2000 years ago)
最令我興奮的是,walk where Romans once walked on ancient stone pavements around the steaming pool 這是我在pool旁邊拍的~

逛了一圈之後 好像上了一堂有趣的歷史課 中文導覽做的非常好 對歷史有興趣的人 尤其是羅馬時期的歷史 非常推薦大家都去看看~單看Roman Bath的外面真的不能了解他的內部精華所在 一張學生票要價八磅五我覺得很貴 但是值回票價 中文講解不但有趣而且詳細 在每個地點都有牌子上寫數字 可以依照他的順序聽講解 
我一路聽著講說 一邊在昏黃的燈光下寫筆記 忽然回想到小學時 我最喜歡的漫畫 尼羅河女兒 裡面的女主角 凱羅兒 他也是個對古代歷史著迷的人 我還記得我當時看完這部漫畫 滿心想的就是將來成為一個考古學家 .....大約因為這部漫畫 以後的我 變的對歷史很有興趣 ,想像自己走在古人曾經走過的路,感覺奇妙又不真實~

圍繞著pool周圍的是歷代的國王 經過時間沖刷 他們的臉孔不再清楚 但是相信他們依然守護著bath spring(池中的綠水 是因為溫泉的溫度和光合作用 使得池中水草橫生)
